Notable Clients
- Palm, Inc.: Designed an aluminum-skinned hardcase for the m500 series of PDAs that successfully met the client's protection and style needs. Surpassed client expectations by concepting and prototyping multiple solutions while remaining within the project timeline.
- Hewlett Packard: Designed sheetmetal/plastic enclosures for a variety of enterprise/consumer server products. Projects involved the design of complex cooling, disc drive extraction, and service panel lock mechanisms.
- Cisco: Redesigned a Cisco server product line derived from the acquisition of a smaller company. This involved reassessing the existing designs and implementing numerous DFM (design for manufacturability) changes, resulting in a significant cost savings.
- Good Technology, Inc. Designed a “proof of concept” model for the G100 series of wireless handhelds. Achieved through on-site consultant work, the client’s expectations were met as I effectively became a member of the Good mechanical design team.

Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space, Sunnyvale, CA (1997-1999)
Mechanical Engineer
- Researched, planned, and designed mechanical components and subsystems for all aspects of numerous commercial and national defense satellites via the creation of 3-D CAD models and 2-D part and assembly drawings.
- Recommended design modifications to eliminate system malfunctions.

Notable Achievements
- Engineering team successfully completed and launched LMI-1, the first telecommunications satellite conceived as a joint venture between the United States and Russia. Our launch was a marked success amidst a string of recent troubled launches.
- Participated in laying the groundwork and initial designs for SBIRS, one aspect of the current National Missile Defense plan. The systems will be used to provide a defensive curtain for the U.S. and our allies in the global theatre.
- Lockheed Martin Superior Performance Award recipient for exemplary service
